We do woodturning to benefit the translation of God's Word into languages that don't yet have it.
After all, God told us to "repent and turn" , so...

and even started selling our wares!
If you think you might be interested in turning, be advised that this is NOT for the "neatniks" out there.
But the results can be worth it and we find it very enjoyable.
Here are some things we usually have for sale (or can make on request):
Several small items ranging from fan pulls, key chains and bookmarks ($3.00) to various styles of pens and pencils ($10-$15) in most any kind of wood (Bethlehem olivewood shown) from local mesquite to rare desert ironwood, rosewood, purpleheart, zebrawood, etc. We have even been given some pussywillow and lilac!
Coffee grinders (this one is purpleheart and yellowheart) are $75.
Small segmented bowls
(3"-5" in diameter) are $20.00.
Candleholders run
$10-$15 a pair.
Antique style pepper (or salt) mills, $30
Boxes run $15-$30. The
one below is mahogany.

One of our latest bowls, a Southwest design with turquoise inserts is made of African Mahogany (tan), Maple (light), Wenge (dark) and Bloodwood (surrounding the turquoise inserts). 8" diameter by 6 3/4" high. ($100)
We often have cutting boards/bread boards and can make them to order.
